Founded in 2015 by Sujay Malve, Canopy Power develops and operates hybrid minigrids in South-East Asia.

The Singaporean firm works with commercial and industrial customers in island areas, such as resorts, mines or plantations. It enables them to hybrid their diesel generators with solar energy through integrated solutions. Canopy has developped its own software to optimize the energy consumption of its customers; it provides them with real-time monitoring of their production and consumption of energy through a tailored online platform.
